The Holiday Surf Hotel is a 100% non-smoking property featuring full-property Internet (fee), a safety deposit box, baggage storage (fee), air conditioning, laundry (fee), and fax/photocopying services (fee).
Hotel Policies, Terms and Conditions
Room rates are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD) per room & maximum persons allowed per room category:
- Studio Queen 2 persons
- Studio Double 2 persons
- Studio Quad 4 persons
- 1 Bedroom Queen 2 persons
- 1 Bedroom Annex 2 – 4 persons
- 1 Bedroom Quad 2 – 4 persons
Standard room rates are for 1 – 2 persons. No additional charge for children 15 years and younger sharing accommodations with parents with existing bedding & supplies. Additional guests, rollaway or crib(s) are $20 plus tax per night per person.
Room rates do not include telephone calls, other guest services and incidentals, parking, taxes, or gratuities.
Effective 7/1/2010: New tax rate is 13.962%. Rates include 9.25% Transient Accommodations Tax & 4.712% General Excise Tax. Taxes will be added to total charges. Tax rates are subject to change without notice.
Non-Refundable rate plans require prepayment in full at time of booking and your credit card will be charged for the full reservation amount including taxes. Credit will not be given for any unused reservation and the amount paid by you for such reservation cannot be used toward any other/future reservation.
All reservations require a credit card or cash deposit of one night’s room and tax due at the time of booking to hold the room for your arrival. Two nights’ room and tax is required for travel between December 1st thru March 1st. All reservations must be paid in full at least 30 days before arrival. Any reservations made within 30 days of arrival or in case of No Show will be charged the full price of reservation including taxes and is Non-Refundable.
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of $150 to cover incidentals, hotel damages or misuse of hotel property. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Travel between December 1st thru March 1st. If reservations are cancelled 45 days or more prior to your arrival date will result in two night’s room and tax. If cancel is within 30 days of arrival the reservation is Non-Refundable. If reservation is made within 30 days of arrival the reservation is Non-Refundable.
No-shows will be charged 100% of total reservation price including tax.
Canceling 30 days or more prior to your arrival date will result in one night room and tax. If canceling is within 30 days of arrival the reservation is Non-Refundable. If reservation is made within 30 days of arrival the reservation is Non-Refundable
You must show a valid photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all special requests cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability upon check-in. Additional charges may apply.

There are absolutely no refunds on early departures.
If arriving after 9 pm or before 7 am Hawaii Standard Time, we ask that you please notify the front desk by email to email@example.com prior to your arrival so that we may be sure someone is available to you for check in. Charges may apply.
Hawaii’s smoking law went into effect on November 16, 2006. The law prohibits smoking in all enclosed or partially enclosed places of employment and public areas. Smoking areas must be at least 20 feet or 6 meters away from doorways, windows and ventilation areas. The Holiday Surf Hotel is completely smoke-free and does not allow smoking in rooms or on balconies.
Advance notification is required. A maximum of 2 dogs per room. Dogs may not weigh over 50 pounds. There is an additional $35.00 per room per night charge. We require a PET deposit of $300.00 for any damages or additional cleaning charges that may be necessary after your departure. The deposit will be released 4 weeks after check-out. If for any reason you incur charges applicable to your pet, we will send you a letter advising you of the additional cost and deduct the additional charges from the deposit.
